Adox Sport   "Blaue Engel" VF
Format:  6 x 9  or 6 x 6 (mask) on 120 rollfilm
Optics:  Schneider-Kreuznach Radionar 1:4,5  105mm
Shutter: Prontor-S  B + 1 => 1/250 sec.

The name "Blaue Engel" is of course my own idea with a loving reference to Marlene Dietrich. This beauty is totally restored and CLA'ed with new blue trimmings and new blue bellows. It is of course the work of Jurgen Kreckel, and I recommend that you visit his website here.  I kinda like the way people stare at me when I pop open this big folder. I haven't really got big plans to collect a lot of Adox cameras, but there is a few that I can't resist. The "Sport" above is one of the few, and needless to say I am looking for at mint condition Adox 300 also, which is probably the most interesting design that came out of the Adox factory

All in all a solid, well functioning medium format folder-camera that offers the basics, no more no less.  The "Sport" was produced in Wiesbaden in the old Wirgin factory from 1959 to 1968 in several versions, also with rangefinder.
